India Gujarat State Wind Farm
Story

The India Gujarat State Wind Farm project aims to help reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by using renewable wind energy to generate power that would have otherwise stemmed from grid mix power plants. The project covers the installation of 12 wind energy convertors in the cities of Jamnagar and Rajkot, located in India's Gujarat state. Each has an installed capacity of 800 kW and a total generating capacity of 9.6 MW. The generated output will supply the Gujarat Electricity Distribution Authority, contributing to climate change mitigation efforts.
